    I have one I found on the side of the road about 20 years ago. Alas, doesn't quite work. I get a "Gate A20 error" on startup.

    It doesn't get that far. The message happens pretty much
    as soon as you turn it on. Before the BIOS

    I suspect it is corrosion on the
    motherboard, but I checked the traces with
    a multimeter and they seemed OK.

    May have a bad Keyboard controller chip then. Should be a 8042 chip
    somewhere on the board.
